The old sugar maple tree is on its last legs. It has been hit by lightening 2 times! It is totally hollow, and has a crack down all of one side. It had very healthy leaves this year, despite all of its hardships. Poppy is running up the walkway from the old tree in the back of our yard. Trees can be our friends too.
