Lemony Watercolors

 I use a watercolor ground mixed with a tint to the background does not run when I paint over it. I added a touch of yellow gouache paint for lemons.

 Orangy background for these lemons in a wooden bowl.

I love Opera Pink tinted for this background. I also try to use variations on the same color for the painting. These are some of the things I teach in Paint and Picnic Class.
