This is Dan's Grandfather, he came to America at 10 years old and was sent to World War I as a young man to fight in his homeland, fortunately the war ended before he got there. Later he went to Germany again to help displaced workers.
Louis was an innovator in the farming business, working with hybrids for Sibley Seeds in Illinois. He believed in education and graduated from the University of Illinois in 1923....how cool----I graduated from the same school in 1983.
