Blogpost: I had a wonderful afternoon at Lori's house! We looked at her garden and painted for a couple of hours. This is her lovely head of cabbage! Jay has taught me that you don't have to paint green things green! That was my goal for the day! I think I accomplished that task!
We also had a lovely pear salad and some Chateau St. Jean chardonnay (which she tells me is on sale at Kroger!) BTW: this is a lovely vineyard and one of my favorite chardonnays!
Watercolor tip: if you use Rose madder genuine, aureolon Yellow and Cobalt blue, you will have a perfect transparent triad so you can paint pretty much anything in perfect harmony!
