Had one tithonia bloom from seed this year.....wish I would have had more. 
Cosmos grow anywhere, bad soil doesn't bother them.
New England Asters are my favorite because they are so abundant. So many blooms on one plant. One day I would like a yard full of blooming asters! They make me smile.
