My $1000 camera bit the dust a couple of years ago and Ian wanted to try his hand at welding. What an interesting piece of machinery! I have a newer Fuji, that has 9 megapixels and cost half as much! I do miss the lens on this Nikon, Coolpix 5000. It was very crisp and clear. The Nikon lens used to be the very best. What kind of camera you like??

My Old Nikon bites the Dust!
My $1000 camera bit the dust a couple of years ago and Ian wanted to try his hand at welding. What an interesting piece of machinery! I have a newer Fuji, that has 9 megapixels and cost half as much! Thanks for your kind words on my blog Laura- always nice to hear from a fellow camera and flower lover! In answer to your camera question- I'm very keen to get an underwater camera next- just saving my pennies!
I like Nikon, they have fantastic lenses and the ergonimics of the camera are better than Canon. Canon does have better image quality when shooting at higher ISO settings.
