Another successful Elderberry Flower Party! Great home made vanilla - pear sauce and Plum sauce from Susan! Lovely flowers from Linda and Cynthia, and strawberries from Lori. The pancakes are fun, and we deep fried a few bananas too. Our favorite wine for the day was Famega "white vinho verde", from Portugal. You can find it at the FINE WINE SOURCE in Livonia. Light with a bit of sparkle! We missed Bill and Jay this year, but we had a few rookies....Cynthia, Andy, Tom, Drew and Linda. Thanks Mary for the tubers!
This is a great way to celebrate the beginning of summer.
