White zucchini, quince,purple beans, basil...today

Interesting colors in the garden...purple beans, white zucchini and quince on the Japanese Quince.  They made fruit for the first time and they are edible.  I put them in applesauce today....don't eat the seeds-they are poisonous.  Picked the last of the garlic, it was amazing!  Very mild.  I will  grow more garlic next year.We have had record heat this year, 42 days of 80 or more.  Not good when you are menopausal.
