Martin Janowski came to Reading Pennsylvania and lived at 406 Gilsan Alley. He was about 27 and Victoria was 18. He was from Austria-I think Poland had a different border back then. He was a laborer and his future wife Victoria was a domestic worker. They lived at the same address, so I think it was a boarding house for immigrants
