I had fun with day two of the amaryllis painting, but the middle flowers were still growing during the two hours that I painted. What an amazing thing to see a flower grow right in front of my eyes. This did add some confusion to my brain. I will paint it one more time...completely open.
Here is a close up of the opening flower. I love this stretching board. I just screw the wet paper under the borders and the paper stays flat as I paint.
