Elderberry Flower Day

We didn't have many elderberry flowers this year, so only had Bill, Lisa and Jay over to celebrate. (plus I was tired after Isaac's party!) We take elderberry flowers and dip them in pancake batter and then deep fry them. Finally we sprinkle them with powder sugar so they look like snowflakes. I will have a big bash next year! The flowers were very late this year! Usually we have the party the middle of June.
Lisa found a snail and put it on the glass table....look at him go!
Pop was there......

The elderberry flowers BEFORE.....

Black raspberries are ready to eat!

The snail is still moving!

Bill brought me a little tulip tree! No one ever brought me a tree as a gift before!
