Still amazed about the city of Livonia, and the gall of giving Bill Craig a ticket for his yard. I think step one for the city should be to designate the city of Livonia as a city that loves monarchs! Milkweeds make wonderful plants, they are sturdy and have a lovely fragrance. They do like to reproduce, as well as many other plants and people. Bill will keep us posted on Livonia City Council dates so we can try and update the neanderthal beliefs of what is an "illegal plant". The response on hometownlife.com was overwhelmingly positive for Bill. My friend Sharon said that she thought only Mary Jane was illegal. Let's fill the city with these orange lovelies!
